The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 just passed the certifications of the Chinese regulator, confirming some of its features.

The successor to the midrange phablet family Galaxy Mega is coming and its supposed to have good features that are found in documents of the Chinese regulator who just got it through certification testing.

The Galaxy Mega 2 (SM-G7508Q Chinese version of TD-LTE but a SM-G7508A model has already passed through the FCC) promises to be a phablet with a display of 6-inch HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) and imposing a rectangle shape that will be 8.9 mm thick.

Another remarkable feature is confirmed with the presence of a processor of Snapdragon 410 64-Bit compatible with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, expandable via a microSD slot. On the back, we find a 13 megapixel camera while a 5 megapixel camera will be at the front.

On board, it's Android 4.4 KitKat who will lead the OS, probably with Samsung's TouchWiz interface. With these certifications completed, Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 should be formalized soon on the holiday season.
