Google continues to add features to its search engine and will soon deploy 'Listen Now': A new way to promote streaming platforms and occupy more and more of the music industry.

As per The Wall Street Journal, the new service will soon be set up by Google, and will target online music and allow users searching on a song, artist or album to access information in a specific box with various links to conduct audio listening.

Google would have opened the door to its service for several specialized platforms in the streaming line like Pandora, Rhapsody, iTunes, Beats Music, but should bring light to its own musical platform.

The opportunity for the firm will also always issue more targeted advertising on its search engine, but also likely to increase partnerships with listening platforms.
