The family of AMD Kaveri processors grew with the arrival of three new models, here are the prices and features. Model released at low cost is also noted.

AMD has just announced the launch of three new Kaveri APUs baptized as A6-7400K, A8-7600 and A10-7800 processors. The first is a double core design that can operate at 3.5 GHz or 3.9 GHz in Turbo mode and even more thanks to its unlocked multiplier (as indicated by the suffix K). It embeds a memory of 1MB L2 cache, houses a Radeon R5 graphics solution at 756 MHz and manages DDR3-1866 RAM. Its TDP is 65 watts. The other two are quad-core 3.1-3.8 and 3.5-3.9 GHz which share a 4MB L2 cache, GPU Radeon R7 at 720 MHz and support DDR3-2133 RAM. Again, the peaks are at 65 watts TDP.

Already referenced by our price comparison, these processors are respectively at a price range of 80, 104 and 156 euros.

Recall that AMD generation Kaveri 28 nanometers are accompanied by microarchitecture Steamroller 28 nanometers and an HSA technology for direct communication in the CPU and the GPU part to get a better division of labor.

Remember also they take advantage of the API Mantle, which promises to facilitate the development of video games for a significant improvement in performance and on which more information is available on this page.
