After several formal presentations, LG has announced that its G Watch was finally available for purchase on the Google Play Store, this is the first watch to be equipped with Android Wear.

The first applications and games dedicated to Android Wear gradually settled in recent days on the delivery platform of Google, and this time it is formally possible to enjoy through the new shows connected to LG.

The LG G Watch is a smartwatch equipped with a 1.65-inch IPS screen that works permanently on, it incorporates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 Ghz, and connects to any smartphone or tablet equipped with Android 4.3 or higher.

The watch is capable of displaying messages, the email notifications and social networks, to control the playback of music or video, and its fully tactile interface seems that there is no physical button is integrated into the device. A microphone allows access to features of Google voice search.

A certified IP67 protection makes it insensitive to dust and waterproof up to 30 minutes at a depth of one meter, enough to withstand sports sessions. It is currently available in two colors: Black Titanium or White gold for 199€, availability is displayed at stock.

Note that the Gear Live, the other watch with Android wear, designed by Samsung is now available at the same price. Its characteristics are identical to those of LG except that the screen uses AMOLED technology to provide greater definition (320x320 against 280x280).
