The Caterpillar brand is aimed at those who want a smartphone which is resistant and can be taken everywhere, even in the most hostile environments.

After presenting their CAT B15 smartphone last year, Caterpillar offers a new smartphone model called CAT B15Q whose design ensures resistance to shocks, falls (1.8 meters with MIL-STD-810G certification), infiltration from dust and water (30 minutes to 1 meter deep with IP67 certification). Its screen takes the side protection against scratches with Gorill Glass.

Technically the CAT B15Q smartphone uses a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor supplied by MediaTek (MT6577 model), supported by a 1GB of RAM and offers a 4-inch WVGA display (definition 800 x 480 pixels) for use even with wet fingers, two SIM housing, 3G/Wi-Fi N compatibility, connections of GPS/Bluetooth 4.0, photo sensors of 0.3 and 5 megapixels and flash memory of 4GB expandable to MicroSD card.
