LG's smartphone reference G3 officially unveiled and confirmed the rumors about its unique characteristics, including its display of 5.5 inch QHD/2K resolution.

The Korean giant confirms the presence of a 5.5-inch qHD display (2560 x1440 pixels) on IPS, with a density of 538 ppi, which occupies 76.4% of the front panel with a screen leaving almost no space at the edges.

On board, there is a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz and associated with 3GB of RAM. At the back, there is a 13 mepapixels photo sensor with optical image stabilizer and autofocus laser which is present in most of the control buttons on the back, which is similarly inherited in LG G2.

In front there is a 2.1 megapixel digital camera that is present, with a module providing a larger opening for selfies successful even in low light. Note that it is capable of identifying tactile gestures and only a fist in front of the lens to start the countdown of three seconds before taking the photo.

The metal cover is, with a rounded back, without connectors or keys on the sides. The smartphone measures 8.9 mm thick and ships with a 3000 mAh battery optimized, taking advantage of advanced technology imagined with the LG G2.

LG G3 has different connectivity of WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS/Glonass and has 16 to 32 GB of storage, expandable by microSD slot (up to 128 GB). The smartphone is 2G/3G+ enabled at 21 Mbps/4G LTE.

With Android 4.4.2 KitKat, LG offers a specific overlay but wanted minimalist with circular motifs to remind its logo and visual identity. It has several special features, such as Smart Keyboard with predictive text, the Smart Form for suggestions from the habits of the user or security functions: Knock code for unlocking Content Lock to secure personal data or Kill Switch for remote deactivation.

Finally, the LG G3 can enjoy various accessories, including QuickCircle Case, case leaving a quick access to main functions, the LG Tone Infinim, stereo headset developed with Harman Kardon and wireless charger (Qi technology).

LG G3 will be launched on May 28 in South Korea and will be available from the end of July in most of the country, for a price not yet reported.
