Still not announced, the first touch tablet from Xiaomi is the subject of speculation about its features, which are not unlike those of the iPad Mini.

Rumors evoked the possible announcement of a first touch pad of Xiaomi on April 23. This does not prevent to specify certain characteristics of the tablet that was assumed.

The site Focus Taiwan claims that the Xiaomi tablet, which could be called MiPad (or Mi-Pad), is the subject of negotiations with Intel and Nvidia groups, the latter hoping to strengthen the Chinese market through it.

The tablet could therefore board a Intel Atom processor and SoC Tegra of Nvidia, and a display and a form factor that is reminiscent of the iPad Mini, since it will have a 7.85" display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, which is evoked.

According to Focus Taiwan, Foxconn and Inventec assemblers (which already deal with the Xiaomi MI-3 and HongMi series) would be responsible for manufacturing it. Xiaomi Tablet would seek a price of 1000 yuan, equivalent to $160/115 euros, and would be launched in the third quarter of 2014.
