The Taiwanese firm ADATA offers a new firmware update for several of its storage devices of SSD (Solid State Drive).

Stamped 5.2.5 firmware, it can be downloaded from this page in the form of an archive containing a file to run as an administrator.

Speaking to owners of SSD referenced S396, S510, S511, SP800 Premier, Premier Pro SP900, XPG SX900 and SX910 XPG embarking SF-22xx controller LSI SandForce memory, it brings several improvements.

The new firmware update indeed includes optimized stability of the SATA wires, support for the TRIM command under Windows environment and disk recovery emergency for stopping or correcting it.

An update thus strongly is recommended as far as a previous numbered 5.07 firmware which improved write speeds and corrected some problems.
