Indian manufacturer Micromax formalizes new smartphones called Canvas Duet 2 and a new model Canvas Blaze HD succeeding Blaze Canvas smartphone introduced in December 2013.

The Canvas Duet 2, also known through a EG111 reference, uses a MediaTek MT6572M quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM. It offers a 5.3-inch 720p screen (1280 x 720 pixels resolution), connectivity if 3G+/Wi-Fi N/GPS/BT 3.0, GSM/CDMA dual-mode operation, camera of 2 and 8 megapixel sensor and a storage space of 4GB expandable to 36GB by MicroSD card. 2300 mAh battery provides up to 6 hours of autonomy and 180 hours of standby.

Micromax Canvas Duet II

The Blaze Canvas HD also adopts quad-core 1.2 GHz, but it is provided with Qualcomm with its MSM8625Q model. It also differs slightly from the first phone above in terms of its 5-inch screen which is also at 720p, and its battery is 2000 mAh, with which we can talk about 5 hours on calls and 150 hours of standby.
