The smartphone Samsung Galaxy S5 continues to raise the questions about its features and its release date, estimated at the end of February at the MWC 2014 show in Barcelona and mid-March via a dedicated event.

The next key device of the Korean group led last year to a riot of forecasts about its features because of its role in the strategy of the manufacturer to dominate the sector and its high-end positioning.

Curved screen, iris scanner, etc; so many technological innovations are listed but are not yet ready for mass production. While upscaling and at the forefront of what is happening in mobile, Samsung must also contend with the necessary supplies to make tens of millions of copies.

A news firm KGI Research gave an update on the "reasonable" expectations around the Galaxy S5 and was collected in a table detailing the various declinations awaited in the smartphone. It considers two versions of the device, one standard and one "Prime" in Korean and international version.

Prime side or the luxury version of the Galaxy S5, KGI considers a Exynos 5430 octocore processor engraved in 20 nm and accompanied by 3GB of RAM. Display of 5.2" (not curved) should have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels at a density of 565 ppi.

The standard version in turn inherits a Snapdragon MSM8974AC quad-core processor (Snapdragon 800) Exynos 5422 or octocore, both engraved in 28 nm, with 2 GB of RAM, while the display of 5.2" remains in Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels).

Note that all are 32-bit processors, which eliminates the immediate arrival of the 64-Bit, which could, however, present its plans for the 64-bit at the coming event of MWC 2014 in Barcelona.

KGI also shows a 16 megapixel camera sensor on all models and a fingerprint reader, as well as the maintenance of a plastic cover on the Standard and Premium versions. Function steering smartphone 3D gesture is also mentioned.
