3D printers are changing more rapidly in recent months, and this is almost natural to see a company like Makerbot, one of the reference companies in the area, enjoys the CES to unveil its new products.

Makerbot is a company that is a reference in the field of 3D printing, the company offers printers for several years for individuals and professionals. The company now displays more than 44,000 printers sold and 3D drawings that have been downloaded over 48 million times on its website.

Today, there are two models that are positioned at both ends of the catalog of 3D printers mark: Replicator Mini, now the smallest and most affordable printer brand, and Z18, the most impressive.

The Replicator Mini is presented as a printer "Point and Shoot" by the CEO of the brand, Bre Pettis: "It does not require a button, the speed setting is a little point and shoot for 3D printers".

The printer remains sophisticated, it incorporates a camera capable of taking pictures of the evolution and can be print and shared on social networks, it connects via WiFi to a range of Cloud applications and has an easily removable magnetic extruder. Bre Pettis announced that it would be available in spring 2014 for a price of $1375, nothing has been said about its accuracy, nor its printing speed.

In contrast we now find the Z18, the largest printing station of the brand to date in the range Replicator. It is a printer that can make prints of 30 x 30 x 45 cm. A demonstration was made to the printer with the print of a Storm Trooper Helmet (Star Wars) at scale 1.

Also available from spring 2014, it will take $6,499 to offer, at this price, it will offer a print room which stabilizes the closed objects that gets larger during printing.

In addition to these two innovations, the Replicator range offers a facelift with a model which has now added a camera, a magnetic extruder and free Wi-Fi for direct access to the online software suite of Makerbot.
