Huawei remains one of the few supporters of the Windows Phone platform now that Microsoft has already purchased the mobile industry Nokia. Its model Ascend W3 could finally be announced at CES 2014 Las Vegas.

Of those who continue to show their support, there is the Chinese manufacturer Huawei, doubtless with the ulterior motive of being able to bring Microsoft to win an international aura. It has already launched models of Ascend W1 and W2, and in September 2013, the rumor of a new smartphone called Ascend W3 emerged.

This new phone could be announced at CES 2014 in Las Vegas and should enjoy an aluminum cover in the spirit of what is done on Android devices. Huawei Ascend W3 should use Windows Phone 8 GDR3 and provide a display of 4.5", probably in HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels).

It would have a dual core processor with 1GB of RAM, a 8 megapixels digital camera at back and 4G LTE compatibility. Until this official announcement is made whether it will be distributed outside of China (the previous models were also offered in the United States) and at what price, only time will tell.
