The LG Home processor Odin was spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark in its octocore release.
For several quarters it is rumored that LG Electronics is preparing its own SoC to integrate into its smartphones and the first embodiment may be the LG Odin processor that should be proposed version of quadcore and octocore.
Its existence seems to be confirmed via the AnTuTu benchmark that would have spotted octocore release. The shipping devices will run Android 4.2 and use a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Note that the observed device uses a version of LG Odin processor clocked at less than 1 GHz.
It could be a prototype (an LG G3?). With an intermediate version of the SoC and the pace of which will be accelerated by a processor that is supposed to run a lighter solution in the market rate coupled with 2GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM. Without being pushed in, it already has a score of around 27,000 points in AnTuTu, which puts it below the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 but almost at the Exynos 5 Octa of Samsung.
The graphic part is not known. This could be an ARM Mali GPU Power VR Series 6 last generation, which should give it a good reserve of power at this level.
