Nokia BH-121 NFC support Bluetooth stereo headset launched
Nokia on Monday announced the BH-121, a small device, to control our smartphone to play music and to connect headphones.
Nokia BH-121 looks like an iPod Shuffle, has dedicated music controls and is accompanied by headphones. However, the BH-121 just announced by Nokia is not a music player, but an accessory to deport and control music wirelessly. This small square device (39 mm square and 12 mm thick) with a clip and a 3.5mm jack, works in fact in line with a telephone. The link is provided by Bluetooth (with support for HFP/HSP and A2DP and AVRCP profiles), the association between the two devices (pairing) can be made via NFC if the device is compatible.
The BH-121, which will be available in December, has accompanied the headset WH-208 that already supports a wide range of Windows Phone smartphone, as it accompanies several references to the Lumia range. The battery status can be checked using a small LED or through a dedicated page on Lumia smartphones application, with a live tile on the system's home screen.
It will be available in four colors: red, yellow, cyan and black, and will be launched at a suggested retail price of 39 euros.
