Even at the Computex trade show we were able to get acquainted with the Lian Li PC-Q35 case. Today we received a press release stating the release of this case in the Mini-ITX/mini-DTX format with seven drive bays.

Lian Li PC-Q35 is a perfect chassis for NAS-systems because it accommodates five 3.5" and two 2.5" hard drives. Removable HDD-cart takes three of the five 5.25" bays and the body enters two optical drives. Basket drives are cooled with 120-mm fan. It can be installed by deploying 180 degrees. Lockable front door does not only provides sound insulation, but also prevents accidental pressing of on/off button. Moreover, it gives the front a very neat appearance.

Water cooling system can be set here with 120mm radiator. I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks is not very convenient, since it is located at the bottom of the right pane.
