So can anyone tell me whether this graphics card are for older computers. It looks to be a replacement VGA card and not the PCIe card. And everyone knows that VGA performs similar to an APU or the HD 4000 or HD 3000 series onboard graphics. We wont be able to play high end games like Assassins creed 4 or Call of duty Ghosts with this card.

Considering the XFX Radeon 280X R9 Double Dissipation is much better and uses a PCB house offering a total of 7 phases (5 +2 or 6 +1?) and a new cooling house pretty good. It operates at frequencies of reference, namely 1GHz for the GPU (and a "base" to 850 MHz) and 1500 MHz for 3GB of GDDR5. The manufacturer seems to have abandoned the large steam room and especially the PCB fins insulating air flow, the front part being traversed by two heatpipes and the rear with four heatpipes.
