BitTorrent's turn to propose a solution for protected communications from eavesdropping. The company announced to work on a new decentralized instant messaging service for security breaches.
Alpha BitTorrent Chat is currently in development at BitTorrent Inc. The service will provide access to a decentralized instant messaging, working on the same principle of sharing peer-to-peer as all other products of the company: users will be able to distribute more data and the service is stable and reliable, without a server, and fully encrypted.
After BitTorrent Live and BitTorrent Sync, the company simultaneously continues to diversify its products, with its technologies for the exchange not outright files, but data. BitTorrent Chat is free and available to everyone in the coming months. For the time being, an Alpha version is being tested. BitTorrent Inc. offers users to register for the Labs to receive an invitation and participate in improving the service before its official launch also.
