BlackBerry India today launched an another QWERTY smartphone named "BlackBerry 9720". It can be a budget QWERTY smartphone from the brand available at just Rs. 15,990/- Blackberry will start shipping the phone in next few days and will be available in two colors, White and Black.

The new BlackBerry 9720 features a 2.8-inch TFT LCD display with 480 x 360 pixels resolutions and 246 ppi. Being a budget BB phone, it is running on Blackberry OS 7.1, instead of BB OS 10. The manufacturer has powered the phone with 806 MHz Marvel Tavor MG1 CPU and 512MB of RAM from which we can surely expect a smooth and lag free performance.

BB 9720 also comes with 5 Megapixel EDOF rear camera with LED Flash allowing you to capture pictures and videos in good quality. Unfortunately there is no front facing camera for making video calls. As per storage we get 512MB built-in memory but it supports expandable memory upto 32GB using MicroSD card. The phone looks good in connectivity with support of 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, and GPS with A-GPS.

BlackBerry has powered the phone with 1450 mAh battery that is said to be offering battery life upto 7 hours in usage mode and u to 18 days in standby mode. Lets have a look at its specification list:
