Toshiba unveils Satellite W30t and W30Dt 2-in-1 laptops

At IFA, Toshiba has launched 2 new laptops: one is a convertible two-in-one, the other is a touch screen netbook.

Toshiba launches a convertible laptop, that is to say, a Windows 8 tablet that comes with a detachable keyboard. It has an IPS touch screen that measures 13.3 inches in this case and displays an HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The W30t comes with an Intel Core i3 fourth generation of Y series processor, for a suggested retail price starting at 800 euros. The W30Dt meanwhile features an AMD A4-1200 and has the advantage of being fanless. It is sold for 700 euros. Only the hard disk of 500 GB can produce some noise. There are also 4 GB of RAM in both laptop.

The tablet weighs 1.28 kg and has a battery giving it a range of 5h. The connectivity includes Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth, micro HDMI output, microSD slot and USB 2.0 ports. Finally, the keyboard weighs 1.1 kg with battery adding 5 hours battery life. It has a USB 3.0 port as well.

Toshiba Satellite NB10t

Toshiba also launches NB10t, a small and cheap laptop based on the successor to the Atom. It has a HD touch screen that not measures 10.1 inches diagonally and 11.6 inches.

The machine actually houses a processor of Intel Celeron N2810, whose architecture is based on Valleyview which succeeds the previous Atom Cedarview architecture. This double core without Hyper-Threading processor is clocked at 2 GHz.

It also has Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI output, a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports and an SD memory card ports, all in a shell part aluminum weighing 1.5 kg.

The Toshiba Satellite NB10t will probably be launched shortly after Windows 8.1, with which it will be provided, at a retail price of 380 euros.

The LED informs the user interface on the recording status and notably allows to instantly switch between photo and video modes.
