Evernote 5 for Windows is now available for download

After the release of the beta in July, the Evernote application is now available in final version 5 on Windows and gets a brand new user interface.

Deployed on OS X in November, Evernote 5 version software comes with notebook features for Windows in a cleaner interface containing the codes of Windows 8 and Office 2013 line. The team says that the update for existing users should be carried out in the course of the week.

The sidebar on the left, from which it is possible to access its various books, as well as its saved keywords, now offers favorite place for research note. This new version also loads the mechanism of tasks introduced in the Web application in the month of May. Simply click on an icon to change a note and pin it on the list with the option to assign a deadline.

The central part now lists the personal as well as shared notes. In addition to the traditional arrangement, it is also possible to view them as thumbnails. The composition tool has also been redesigned to provide a more accurate preview of the note over the publishing. Note that the window can be separated from the software.

Finally, in addition to a more powerful engine for subscribers to search in Evernote Premium, version 5.0 offers consulting of its memo on a map, for example if they were seized from a phone.
