We saw earlier an advertisement from Intex teasing about its next big hit to be launched on September 4th. Well here it is, "Intex Aqua i7". This is a brand new Phablet launched by the manufacturer (probably first of its kind from Intex) with powerful specifications. The new Aqua i7 launched officially yesterday by Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar and will start shipping September 9th onward with the price tag of Rs. 21,990/-
Talking about the specifications Intex Aqua i7 features a large 5-inch Full HD IPS touch screen display with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection offering 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Such displays are surely very impressive in Multimedia, gaming or whatever you do. It is a Dual SIM phone running on Android 4.2 Jellybean operating system and should get further updates via OTA. Intex has powered the phone with 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and 2GB of RAM which is enough to make the device to work smooth and lag free with better multitasking capabilities.
The new Aqua i7 will also attract photography fans because of its 13 Megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash capable to record 1080p Full HD videos. There is also a 5 Megapixel front-facing camera for making video calls and conferencing. Though the device so far looks quite impressive and powerful, it supports only the basic connectivity options such as 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and aGPS. As far as Storage is concerned, with Aqua i7 we get 32GB built-in memory from which only 24.8GB is available for user's access and rest goes to the system. As of now i'm not sure whether there is any expanded slot provided for MicroSD card.
Intext has powered Aqua i7 with 2000 mAH battery from which we can expect battery life of upto 7 to 9 hours in usage mode. The device will be available with retailers and online vendors starting Sept 9th at the said price of Rs. 21,990 but it includes several free goodies such as screen guard, a key chain, a Pen and a Flip Cover which in all costs upto Rs. 5,500/-. Pretty Good deal, isn't it?
