The Huawei Honor 3 is a mid-range Android Smartphone with the advantage of being waterproof.

Huawei announced the renewal of its iconic smartphone. The Chinese manufacturer launches Honor 3, second heir to the pioneering smartphones at very good price and performance.

The new model provides only modest changes in the technical details, but it is waterproof, a first in this segment. It actually meets IP55 and IP57 index protection, which means it is resistant to dust, waterproof up to 1m deep, and jets resistant from all directions.

It is also an update of Honor 2 and has HD screen (1280 x 720 pixels) that now measures 4.7 inches diagonally (against 4.5), front and back camera sensors of 1.3 million pixels and 13 million pixels respectively (against 8), we pass the SoC house K3V2 quad-core at 1.4 GHz to 1.5 GHz K3V2E, but we stick to 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD. Finally, note the arrival of an infrared transmitter for operation of a TV or media player.

The Huawei Honor 3 will soon be marketed in China at 1850 yuan, 230 euros. No information has been when it will be launched worldwide.
