Lenovo launches A1000, A3000 and S6000 Tablets starting for Rs. 8,999

We have seen several budget Tablet PCs in the market since last year from manufacturers like Micromax, Karbonn, Lava, etc but what if brand like Lenovo provide you a 7-inch tablet with better configuration at the price of Rs. 8,999/-. Thats correct. Lenovo today launched two 7-inch tablets and one 10-inch tablet for Indian market between 9K to 27k range. Lets have a look at them individually.

The most affordable tablets among the three is Lenovo A1000 that features 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display offering 1024 x 600 pixels resolutions. Running on Android 4.1.2 Jellybean operating system the tablet supports a GSM Sim card allowing you to make voice calls as well. Lenovo has powered the device with 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8317 processor and 1GB of RAM making the device pretty good in performance and multitasking. In terms of connectivity Lenovo A1000 supports 2G (EDGE), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and USB OTG. Unfortunately the SIM Slot wont support 3G. You will need to use it with external USB 3G dongle. Lenovo A1000 is running on 3500 mAh battery allowing battery life upto 5 hours. The tablet is now available at the price of Rs. 8,999/-

The second one is Lenovo A3000 running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It also features the same 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display offering 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. The device is powered with 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8389 / MT8125 processor and 1GB RAM. What makes it superiors than A1000 is camera, storage capacity and connectivity options.

Lenovo A3000 comes with built-in 16GB storage and an expansion slot supporting upto 64Gb MicroSD Card. As per connectivity the tablet supports built-in 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG.
