Holders of smartphone with BlackBerry 10 can now download a new extremely versatile alternative browser.

The BlackBerry 10 system comes with a WebKit-based which is rather efficient but still with some limitations in respect to applications that come with competing the systems browser. Application Evolution Web Browser intends to remedy this problem.

This alternative app proposes to manage multiple browser tabs and notably includes a mechanism that does not display advertising or can even block its downloading. Moreover, surfing can be associated with a reduced display mode optimizing the loading of pages.

Evolution Web Browser also proposes to change the user agent, so this means that the browser will, for example, be able to identify to view specially optimized websites for the iPhone or iPad, like Safari. In addition to the auto-hiding the address when scrolling the web page bar, we find a navigation system similar to that implemented in Dolphin gestures.

Other features offered by this mobile browser include: scrolling a page with the volume buttons, restoring tabs from the previous session, optimized for reading and favorites management mode. Sharing options to Facebook, Twitter or BlackBerry Messenger are also present, as well as the ability to disable JavaScript, or search for a term in a web page.

Evolution Web Browser is marketed to 1.79 euro in the BlackBerry World. You can find more information on this page.
