Nokia Lumia 1020/909 Smartphone Photos Leaked

A few days before the official launch of a press conference held by Nokia to be held in New York on Wednesday, a few shots of two new Lumia range smartphones circulating on the Web was leaked.

After a first attempt on Symbian with 808 PureView, Nokia is set to unveil a new camera phone for its Lumia range. This welcome the technology of PureView and a 41 megapixel sensor. Developed in collaboration with the photo specialist Carl Zeiss technology, it allows us more precisely to capture shots in 3, 5 or 8 megapixels with oversampling technology to condense 7 pixels within one. This then leads to a better quality of digital zoom and a brighter picture in shaded areas.

Specialized sites like GSM Arena and WPXAP leaked out some photos of the smartphone in question. According to various reports, it would be marketed as Lumia 909 or Lumia 1020. Like the Lumia 925 it would receive updates for applications and it will be deployed by Windows Phone 8 system by Nokia and Microsoft respectively under the name of Amber and GDR2.

Where the lumia 925 was an elegant and sober smartphone, the next device of Nokia looks quite strongly like 920 since it is also thinner than its predecessor for 1mm, except where the camera sensor will be placed. Colors will also return as the U.S. operator has listed three models; white, black and yellow. So we can expect other colors from dealers as well, like the one with the red color or all the colors in which the lumia 920 was available.
