As expected, the Google Editions HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 goes on sale on its shop.
Google Play Store yesterday hosted in the United States a new category of devices: in addition to its own Nexus devices, Google now sells devices based on "Google Play edition."
As announced in the Google I/O, failing to launch a successor to the Nexus 4 and it features of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 with the original version of Android, without many modifications and additions manufacturers, now they are available for pre-order in the U.S. for 600 and 650 dollars respectively, for shipment on July 9.
They are available in gray or white, not black or blue, and they are likely to be reserved for the time being to the U.S. market only.
Google Play Edition are little more independent than the original versions (a few minutes) but not more efficiently. I must say that if we often talk about "overlay", manufacturers actually directly affect the operating system, they are therefore not heavy.
In use, the buyers of Google Play editions lose innovations from manufacturers, such as gestural interactions or photo features, but they gain in exchange some extra storage space (a few gigabytes) and insurance to stay "at the forefront." These HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 will actually ship with Android 4.2.2, the latest version, and also will receive updates as soon as the Nexus devices will get.
Note to conclude that this is the GSM version of HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 and Android that includes different language localization, which allows import and benefits of 3G+.
