    Facebook Launches Instagram Video Service

"“A small team has been working on a big idea": it is in these terms that Facebook has invited the press to discover its new product. The social network announced a new feature for Instagram, namely the arrival of the video.

"The Instagram team is three times greater now than when we bought the company a year ago," explained Mark Zuckerberg at the press conference held Thursday in Menlo Park, California.

Kevin Systrom, Instagram's founder, who quickly took the baton. He announced that the application is used by 130 million users, and it is time to take the next step.

    Video on Instagram

Systrom said that the video had been set aside for play on the quick and easy side of the application. But now it seems to competitively use Vine, Instagram passes this course: so this is indeed the video that landed on the service, as was predicted in the rumors.

Specifically, the application interface will not change much, with the exception of an additional button to make a video of 15 seconds. "It is long enough to make creative videos, and short enough not to cause loading problems," said Kevin Systrom.

The application allows you to go back in a video filmed to cut, but also apply a filter from 13 specially created for video. It is possible to apply on a video that are already made on the fly.

Finally, Instagram offers a software system stabilization, called Cinema: it minimizes the effect of moving the videos in a rather effective way, a bit like what YouTube offers in its mounting options.

The user can then choose a layout image, write a comment including hashtag - it's good, Facebook's recently introduced and share the result on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.

Clearly, the video interface put forward on the Instagram platform is furiously thinking about the current presentation on Vine, and this is no coincidence. Instagram has added another string to its bow and obviously trying to compete with this service, and therefore Twitter.

Instagram is therefore not the first service on the ground and if we can estimate that the initiative copy of Vine, it provides additional features that make it a strong competitor to the Twitter service.

The Instagram update should be available in the next few hours on iOS and Android.

Re: Facebook Launches Instagram Video Service

Instagram Video can shoot and share video from a maximum of 15 seconds directly on its Facebook page from a smartphone. It also indirectly criticized Vine, the video application launched earlier this year by Twitter, which allows films of six seconds. A special tool was developed in co-operation with experts from the video image stabilization, a fault often found in films shot with a phone.
