HP Tegra 4-powered SlateBook x2 tablet with Android 4.2 and Envy x2 with Windows 8 Announced

HP announced, in the United States, two new convertible tablets, which complement the range "x2" at the top and bottom.

HP contributed by launching the Envy x2 running on Windows 8, a product with interesting design but handicapped by its Intel Atom processor.

    HP Split x2

HP finally launched the "Split x2", adopting the same design but with a comfortable configuration of the Ultrabook. The tablet actually has a processor of Core i3 or Core i5 series of Y (the TDP of only 10 W), combined with 2GB of RAM. In return the tablet loses its mobility since it has IPS HD screen with 13 inches diagonally.

The detachable keyboard is not the seizure, unlike the Microsoft Surface, it contains an extra battery and has a 500 GB hard drive, which complements the 128 GB SSD of the tablet, and provides additional ports. The details of the autonomy and connectors is unfortunately not disclosed.

    HP SlateBook x2

The "SlateBook x2" is itself an Android tablet very similar to the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T, launched more than a year ago.

It actually has an IPS screen of 10 inches with a WUXGA resolution slightly higher than Full HD. But it comes with a Nvidia Tegra 4 chip, and not the previous generation, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. There is also a 1080p sensor at the back, 720p front sensor, a microSD slot, Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 4.0 and finally Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
