No EXYNOS processor and AMOLED screen in Samsung Galaxy S IV

The Samsung Galaxy S IV will be announced on March 14, which is now confirmed, but it still creates a surprise during the Mobile World Congress with the flight of its main technical characteristics.

A dedicated website informer SamMobile proclaims that they actually have their hands on one of the same device and they also found a part of its technical sheet.

As per the tech specs, the "Galaxy S4" would display a full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) of 4.99 inches screen, as was always expected. However it would not have an AMOLED screen like its predecessors, or like the Galaxy Note II, but a LCD screen. Since the photo was taken in the dark, it does not reveal much about the device, but it detects many things such as a backlight, but an OLED screen which is lacking.

More surprisingly, the "GT-i9500" will also not incorporate the new processor but a different one. A shame for a product which is so symbolic, but divisions are separated which is not completely excluded. Until the subsidiary semiconductors master group reaches overheating issues for Exynos 5 processor, the mobile subsidiary would have retained the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. This quad-CPU SoC is here clocked at 1.9 GHz, that is to say more than 200 MHz in comparison with HTC One.

The "S4" would have also 2 GB of RAM, 16, 32 or 64 GB of internal memory, a back sensor of 13 million pixels and a plastic shell with a rectangular frame with rounded aluminum corners.

Note to conclude that the radius of the rounded corners is lower on the new photo as on the previous one. As usual, we are not in the shelter of a prototype which do not match the final model.

Well, this is an unconfirmed information that was obtained on the first official specification. Although, I agree that Samsung needs to abandon its own Exynos processor because of overheating issues. Also, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor is used in HTC One and LG Optimus G Pro as well.

There is no information whether Samsung Galaxy S IV is based on LCD 3, which is used in the HTC One, but it is already hinted that Samsung will be ready to produce Full HD LCD displays at its plants since 2013. It also became known that the company has some problems with the production of Full-HD AMOLED screens. Also, the back cover still remains to be plastic, this has to be upgraded.
