Tata Docomo teamed up with Fujitsu launches F-074 Smartphone for Rs. 21,900

Tata Docomo has teamed up with Fujitsu Japan-based technology company and has launched Fujitsu F-074 - Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich based tablet. It has 4.0-inch (480 × 800 pixels) AMOLED capacitive touch display powered by 1.4 GHz Snapdragon S2 processor and runs Android 4.0 operating system. It has 5MP auto focus camera 512MB RAM, 1GB built-in storage - Expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot and 1400 mAh battery . As far as connectivity is concerned it supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and GPS.

Fujitsu F-074 Smartphone has a positive and negative point In Indian market. Positive point is that it is a waterproof smartphone, where as negative point is that it is exclusively available for Tata Docomo customers in its brand stores. Tata Docomo's also offers a data plan with this smartphone free premium number for life, unlimited 3G Data and Unlimited Local & STD calls on any network for 3 months. Tata Docomo prepaid customers can simply recharge with Rs. 250 and get 1GB data for 2 months.

I don’t think this phone will get success in Indian market. First off all its specifications are not that impressive, secondly it’s quite high priced and lastly it is exclusively available for Tata Docomo customers.
There are many other cheap brands in India market offering far better products compared to Fujitsu F-074. The only thing that might attract few is its waterproof body.
