Huawei Ascend P1 LTE - India's first 4G Smartphone revealed

Huawei and Bharti Airtel have revealed India's first 4G Smartphone in partnership. Huawei Ascend P1 LTE supports 4G high speed wireless data on LTE network and voice calls on 3G network. It has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touch display with resolution of 960×540 pixels, powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating system. Ascend P1 LTE has 8MP rear camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB built-in storage, Corning Gorilla Glass and 1,800mAh battery. For connectivity it supports Wi-Fi, microUSB and Bluetooth.

Bharti Airtel is first telecom operator in India to launch 4G services. Sources say that Bharti Airtel 4G services will offer 40 Mbps of download and 20 MBps of upload speed. Information regarding its price has not been revealed but it’s expected to be around Rs. 30,000.

Huawei Ascend P1 LTE looks good and its specification is impressive as well. I was expecting either Nokia or Samsung to come up with India first 4G Smartphone revealed and I am quite surprised to see Huawei taking the chance.
