There were plenty of rumors flying throughout the web saying “iPhone 5 will be launched in India on October 26” but PR Manager of Apple India has confirmed that they won’t be launching iPhone 5 in India anytime soon. This is not the first time where Apple has excluded India from their initial launch schedule for iphone 5. They have already done it before for other apple devices as well. However, customers who were waiting for iPhone 5 to get launched in India know that it is being sold in grey market. Grey market sellers In India are charging up to Rs. 1,00,000 for the 64GB variant.

- shopping.rediff - 16GB for Rs. 54,990 (Factory unlocked)
- Tradus - 16GB for Rs. 59,500 (Factory unlocked), 32GB for Rs. 73,599 and 64GB for Rs. 86,699.
- eBay - 16GB for Rs. 54,999.
After official launch iPhone 5 16GB variant will be priced for Rs. 45,000. So if anyone is willing to pay Rs 10,000 then they can refer this sire.
Note - Nano-SIM used in iPhone 5 is also not officially available in India by now.
