Zync announced Z930 - ICS tablet for Rs. 5,499

Zync has recently announced Zync Z930 an ICS tablet for Rs. 5,499. Z930 has 7-inch TFT capacitive touch screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution powered by 1.2 GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM. It has 4GB internal storage and is expandable up to 32 GB using micro SD card. Like Micromax funbook Zync Z930 has 0.3MP front facing camera, 3G support via dongle, Wi-Fi, USB, HDMI port and 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with a 3,600 mAh battery which will live it up for 4 hours on continuous video playback and net browsing time.

It comes preloaded with application like Google Play Store , Google Maps, Adobe Reader, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, GTalk, WhatsApp, Skype, MSN, Yahoo, BIG Flix Subscription, ibibo Games, Bollywood Hungama and Opera mini. Other than these things it supports formats like MP3, WAV WMA, FLAC, AAC, AC3, MP4, AVI, MPEG, DIVX, XVID, FLV, MOV etc.

+ Point of getting this tablet is that it will get Jelly Bean update as well. It is said to be a rival for other cheap tablets like Karbonn's SmartTab 2 and micromax funbook.

Zync Z930 is not Zync’s first tablet, they have already launched budget Android tablets like Z-990 Plus, Z909 Plus and Z999 Plus.

Zync Z930 specification seems quite impressive with its price but i don't think its a rival for Micromax funbook. I agree it has + Point due to Jelly Bean update but Zync as a brand is not known as Micromax. Micromax have gained mass attention because of funbook and many people have started trusting their hardware. On the other hand Jelly Bean has just covered 1.8 percent of android market where as ICS covers more than 20 percent so i don't think + Point of Zync Z930 will beat up funbook.
