Gigabyte Launches "GA-H77N-Fi" and "GA-Z77N-Fi" mini-ITX 7-Series Motherboards
Gigabyte has quietly extended its range with two new mini-ITX motherboards upscale, especially suited for multimedia use.
The new "GA-H77N-Fi" and "GA-Z77N-Fi" model motherboard are based on the Intel H77 and Intel Z77 chipset. The only contribution of the latter is the presence of a single PCI-Express that supports overclocking. But both mobo's are also identical.
They have the particularity of a Intel brand Wi-Fi controller board, only to support the Wireless Display (WiDi), embodied in this case by a Centrino Wireless-N 2230 mini-PCIe card, as found in some laptops. It supports Wi-Fi N single-band up to 300 Mbps, and also comes with the Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth Smart Ready).
There are also the usual features of a mini-ITX motherboard: one PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, two DDR3 slots, two Serial ATA ports to 6 Gbps, 3 Gbps for the other two, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 ports on the rear panel, two for housing, DVI, two HDMI outputs and inputs/outputs analog and digital audio. There are also some specific Ultra Durable 4 house design, promising high reliability, and dual BIOS with UEFI interface ergonomics.
No sale date or prices are yet known. These motherboards are referenced on the global website of the manufacturer.
