The team Wolfram Alpha announced a new tool to get a personal compilation of statistics on the use of Facebook.
While most third-party services are making use of the Facebook API to access the address book or calendar, Wolfram Alpha has decided to retrieve multiple types of information in order to obtain an overview of the activity on their Facebook account.
To find a set of personal statistics, simply enter the surfer to facebook postponement in the engine for the first time, it must authenticate the account. Subsequently Wolfram will extract all data that are presented to classify them by themes and illustrate them in the form of graphs and tables. This is in some ways an opportunity to learn about the personal data that are shared with other third-party service that are boarding the Facebook API.
Wolfram shows the number of publications recorded and their types (text, images, links ...), the number of friends and their geographical origin, means the hours and days of visits to the site, or the number of installed applications. The internet also finds the type of publications that appreciates its use from the smartphone or a graphical representation of the network.
