AverMedia has announced Live Gamer HD (C985) video card especially designed for gamers with a price tag of $219. It is a 1080p HD hardware compression video capture card. It is capable of recording on-screen activities of your system because of its on-board hardware encoding. The recording in background won’t be tampering real-time gaming experience as it does not compromise CPU usage. It will be shipped with RECentral software and the application that is designed by AVerMedia for recording and streaming. The recording and streaming application will function like PC screen recording software but as mentioned there won’t be frame drop, quality loss or high CPU usage because of that. For easy capturing of some certain scenes while playing game there is a USB-interfaced Hot Button, once can easily trigger the button with a press and it will capture the scene immediately.
