Asus launches for the first time, a flat screen monitor with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
VG278H successor, the first display supporting Nvidia 3D Vision 2, the VG278HE can be distinguished by its maximum refresh rate, with 144 Hz, which is the first monitor in the case for Asus.
This monitor has again similar size of VG278HE which is 27 inches and a ratio of 16:9, whereby the native resolution is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. With the refresh rate of 144 Hz, the image according to Asus, both in 2D and 3D effect is even more fluid in the operation, than at 120 Hz, since the display is 24 frames per second longer. There is a TN display and also a Full HD support with a response time of 2ms. It has VGA, HDMI and DVI Dual Link, as well.
The "Asus VG278HE" goes on sale worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2012, for an undisclosed price. Its predecessor was launched at a price of 600 euros.
