Since launching a CDMA Android tab long back in March, Reliance Communications are back again with a new 3G tablet with lots improved features and promotional packages. RCOM yesterday launched Android 2.3 powered new tablet named “Reliance 3G Tab V9A”. It is now available in the market at the price of 14,999/-.
Running on Gingerbread, the Tab features a 7inch capacitive touchscreen offering quite good resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Other than this it too has strong specifications like 1.4GHz processor and 512MB RAM. Users also get a 3 MegaPixel rear camera as well as 0.3 megapixel front facing camera for making video calls. Users can make these Video Calls free of charge till 3 months under promotional packages launched by Rcom. Reliance 3G Tab V9A also has 4GB internal Storage space that can be expanded upto 32GB using microSD card. RCOM provides a 4GB SDCard for free along with the device. The tab can also be used as a mobile phone for making Voice or Video Calls, send SMS or MMS and many more.
The 3G Tab V9A is packed with many more features such as Bluetooth 3.1, WiFi, Fm Radio, GPS, and many inbuilt applications including Reliance TV, BigFlix, Facebook, Twitter and offcourse Google’s own applications. It also comes pre-loaded with Documents to Go allowing you to view and edit your all ms office applications. Weighing just 402 grams, the tablet has dimension of 92.8 x 121.8x 12.75 mm. It is running with 3400 mAh battery that provides upto 9 hours of usage battery life.
The only drawback with Reliance 3G Tab V9A would be its price (15K) for a Gingerbread powered Tab whereas Google Nexus 7 is about to reach with Jelly Bean at just 11,000 INR.
