Contents of Assassin's Creed III special edition Announced

Ubisoft has announced via a press release special editions of Assassin's Creed III will be available in EMEA territories for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Windows PC. Assassin's Creed 3 will be available in a total of three different editions: Join or Die Edition, Freedom Edition and true Special Edition. This tertiary date will appear in the original game's release (October 30, 2012).

Freedom Edition

• Assassin's Creed III
• A figure of 24 cm of Connor
• Metal box decorated with drawings by the artist Alex Ross
• The notebook of George Washington that reveals all the secrets about the murderers and Templars, during the American Revolution
• An exclusive lithograph
• Two additional missions for single player campaign
• The ruins of the Maya: a mission of Connor directs you to an ancient Mayan pyramid, full of mysteries and revelations. There will be possible to unlock a special weapon.
• Ghost of War: The revolution benefits the Templars. Defeat your enemy and unlock a special weapon.
• Multiplayer Pack: A new character for multiplayer, The Sharpshooter, a relic, an emblem and special paint The Jester.

• Exclusive mission for single player campaign: "A Dangerous Secret" is about discovering a secret that could influence the course of the revolution. If you complete the mission, you unlock a special weapon, "Flinlock Musket."

The Special Edition includes special packaging, a copy of the game and an exclusive single player missions. Assassin's Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratohnhake: ton, British-born and native American. The plot of Assassin's Creed III takes place during the American Revolution and will take players from remote borderlands of lively colonial cities, up to the chaotic battlefields, where the Continental Army of George Washington will face the mighty British troops.

The Classic Special Edition will have "only" a special package and the mission single-player exclusive A Dangerous Secret, which will see the hero fighting against a secret that could jeopardize the entire Revolution. Completing the quest will lead to the release of a flintlock musket.
