    4G wireless service from NetZero

Internet access provider NetZero is to make sure its competition in the 4G space data services. Because now it announced its latest service by launching its new service from NetZero 4G mobile broadband offering free Internet access to mobile 4G with the acquisition of an access point or 4G USB modem. The free service is limited to 200 MB per month. This service is valid for only 12 months from the time of purchase and cannot be renewed. However, NetZero also offers some tools to manage data consumption.

I have also heard that there is a choice of two levels of service.
    • Lightspeed – it offers up to 1Mbps download / 384Kbps upload
    • Warpspeed - it offers up to 10Mbps down / 1.5Mbps up speed. This level is for maximum performance

The best thing is customer can switch back and forth by simply logging into NetZero's website. Other the free usage, currently there are five monthly data plans are available:
    • Free, $0, 200MB (limited to Lightspeed and limited to one year)
    • Basic, $9.95, 500MB (limited to Lightspeed)
    • Plus, $19.95, 1GB
    • Pro, $34.95, 2GB
    • Platinum, $49.95, 4GB

NetZero is to reduce the digital divide by allowing consumers to buy insurance, quality service, mobile broadband at affordable prices with plans designed to meet the needs of data consumers.

4G service is based on the current Clearwire WiMax 4G network, and NetZero Launches packages today in over 80 cities, including few major markets. Climb aboard with NetZero plans require the purchase of either a NetZero 4G HotSpot or NetZero 4G stick.

Re: 4G wireless service from NetZero

The Netzero wireless is service is available for several major cities and good thing is that it is available as a Hotspot connection and personal USB modem connection. But data charges seems to be quiet high as compared to other 4G service provider. What do you say?
