Google's Nexus Prime phone with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in pictures revealed

A photo of Google's next flagship mobile phone "Nexus Prime" has appeared on an online shop, with the text "coming soon."

Google's Nexus Prime Could come in the next month
Although there has been much discussion about what the name of the upcoming mobile phone really is, most of the site call it the Google Nexus Prime. The mobile phone is manufactured by Samsung and will be the first mobile phone on the market with the latest version of Android - called the Ice Cream Sandwich.

Price and release date is not yet discussed on this sites, even if it is still concerned yet that the Ice Cream Sandwich could come as early as next month.

As Nexus Prime will be Google's mobile reference for the new operating system, the mobile will be probably released at the same time as the Ice Cream Sandwich.

The shop still has a number of specifications to show off, that we can see below:
    • Android 4.0
    • 4.6-inch Super AMOLED display
    • 1.5 GHz Dual Core Processor
    • 5-megapixel camera behind, 1-megapixel front camera
    • 1080p HD video
    • WiFi, GPS

As per the specifications say, however, nothing about either NFC or LTE support connectivity is mentioned, but many reports indicate that at least the NFC will be included in the upcoming Google phone.

    Without TouchWiz
While Nexus Prime will be manufactured by Samsung, it will be released without the company's own TouchWiz version of the operating system. Android 4.0 will stand on its own feet and show what it is good for.

This version of the operating system is actually intended to merge what we know today as Android 3.x Honeycomb and Android 2.3 Gingerbread - where the honeycomb is a special version for your board and devices with large screens.

Re: Google's Nexus Prime phone with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in pictures revealed

I have heard that, at the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco, Eric Schmidt, former CEO and Executive Chairman of Google, ended the suspense by announcing that Android 4.0 will arrive this fall, most probably in between October and November 2011. Also isnt the Google Nexus Prime better known on the web under the name of Samsung I9250?
