Viewsonic, at the IFA in Berlin, presented a 7-inch tablet called "ViewSonic ViewPad 7e". It might release at the end of September, with a cost of 150-170 euros. For that price, do not bother to look for the latest technology, but the tablet should be 7 inches wide, which would be for small budget people, looking for a simple and effective tablet.
Next to the ViewSonic 7x, the top-shelf range of Viewsonic with the latest version of Android Honeycomb, the Viewsonic 7E could be marketed all over the world by the end of September. This tablet lacks performance for its price range. With its 7-inch screen multipoint capacitive, it is powered by a single-core ARM processor, running at 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of storage, it also has a standard connection for this type of devices: WiFi, HDMI, micro-USB and micro-SD. Viewsonic clearly wants to make its product at entry level. The manufacturer is also not trying to Honeycomb upgrade-it, and also wont put a version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Enough for everyday use, as said by Viewsonic, who thinks so basic that the tablet does not include people who know Honeycomb, but it is perfect to everyone else. The main argument of the Viewsonic 7E is also the price: it should be available between 150 and 170 euros.
