The publisher announced the availability of Acronis Acronis True Image Home 2012, which is the new version of its backup solution. It's definitely become a habit: the interface of this new version once again gets changed in all.
We find this time a section on getting started, and key features grouped in tabs: Backup and restore, and Synchronisarion Tools & Utilities. In an effort to make the software less obscure to the general public, Acronis has dropped visibility with large icons decorated with graffiti explanatory ... Why not, if it can help simplify the use for beginners who are reluctant to back up their data.
Behind the facade ... surprisingly, especially since the interface had already played in the 2011 version, there are several new features. The main one is the arrival of a synchronization module of a file to different locations or in local network, but also in line with the integration of True Image Online, a paid service that offers space from 250 GB to 4.95 euros / month or 49.95 euros / year.
The new version also offers a simplified treatment of NAS and the ability to use disk space more than 2 TB to make backups of operating systems that do not allow to handle more capacity. Acronis True Image 2012 is available at a price of 49.95 euros for a PC, or 69.95 euros for 3 PC. An update is also available at a price of 29.95 euros. The trial version of TrueImage 2012 can be downloaded from here.
