Originally announced for Tuesday, August 16, the final version of Mozilla Firefox 6.0 has finally been made available by the Mozilla Foundation in the course of last weekend. A new version, which comes two months after Firefox 5.
After the alpha version unveiled in May and the beta version released in July, up to the final version of Firefox 6, now is available on Mozilla servers since this weekend. The publication of this new version was done a few weeks after the arrival of Firefox 5, confirming the will of the foundation to accelerate the timetable for publication of its Internet browser.
With an accelerated speed of starting of the browser, a notebook named ScratchPad for javascript developers, tested the code in Firefox 6. The domain of the site visited is also better highlighted in the address bar, and a tool called "Permission Manager" to manage the permissions granted to each site individually by typing about: permissions in the bar address is also featured. Many new features are already present in the alpha and beta versions of Firefox 6. For the rest, there are quite a few variations with the previous update.
Mozilla Firefox 6.0 is available for download for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux from here.
