Motorola announced a new Android entry level smartphone, the "Motorola Fire XT", with which it responds to the LG Optimus Net, that was recently announced and it will compete directly with similar specifications.
The "Motorola Fire XT" is structured effectively to begin around a capacitive touch screen of 3.5 inches with a modest HVGA definition. It has a chip which is not provided in turn and clocked at 800 MHz, 512 MB RAM, 512 MB of internal memory, a microSDHC slot and a full range of connectors and sensors, including dual-band HSDPA, quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi N, FM, GPS, electronic compass, accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light and standard Bluetooth connectivity. It has, however, the distinction of being with a forehead VGA sensor, unlike its rival, for video telephony or the realization of self-portraits. A secondry camera for photography with 5 megapixel is placed at the back as well and filmed in standard definition. The Battery 1540 mAh assured the operation of Android 2.3 Gingerbread and interface for Moto Switch to 28 days before or 8 hours of talk time. The "Motorola Fire XT" will be launched in Europe in the fall for an undisclosed price.
