Acer continues the renewal of the family Predator with desktop players for completing the recent G3600 variant with an AMD platform.
The new "Acer G3100 Predator" actually comes with an AMD Phenom II X6 1035T, that has six cores that are clocked from 2.6 to 3.1 GHz and backed by a total of 9 MB of cache.
The AMD chipset motherboard 880g on which it is plugged is also included to 4GB of DDR3 RAM with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 equipped with 1GB of dedicated memory. If we could expect an AMD GPU (although available on other configurations), it is surprising in any case the choice of a previous generation GPU is since replaced. Acer would make it the bottom of the barrel for prizes?
We also found a hard drive to 1TB, a DVD multi-format memory card reader, a whopping 14 USB 2.0 ports, but no USB 3.0.
