Adobe Flash Player 10.3 to go beyond the HTML5

"Flash Player 10.3" is about to be completed. Adobe has actually released last week a first release candidate, which became as the name indicates the final version, if no blocking problem is detected. So the opportunity to review the contributions of this future update is possible.

Since the native video is democratizing the web, Flash takes a new turn by focusing on the uses to which the HTML5 does not answer (yet):

    1. If Flash Player 10.2 was headed for the video hardware acceleration in generalizing, Flash Player 10.3 goes further, turning this time to the audio and by extension to the video-conferencing. The next version of Flash has to do new acoustic functions: echo cancellation, noise suppression, voice detection and automatic adjustment of microphone volume.
    2. On the video, Flash Player 10.3 inaugurates new audience measurement tools, including those for real-time analysis of distribution channels.
    3. Flash Player 10.3 has finally improved integration, the privacy settings of the Internet browser on the one hand (delete browser cookies automatically, delete those of Flash Player), and the control panel of the operating system on the other hand.

RC1 of the "Flash Player 10.3" is already available. The details of the news and the download can be obtained from Adobe Labs.

Re: Adobe Flash Player 10.3 to go beyond the HTML5

In my opinion flash is dying slowly but surely, when we track the performance of HTML5 one wonders just why it is no more highlighted. For example with the famous tag of video codecs and the war that spring. One may say that Flash still has good years ahead of it.In addition, vector animations are much more accessible with flash only. Finally ... HTML 5 is great. But it's so poorly controlled (each browser implements what it wants).
