Sony finally announced its first Blu-ray laptop, in Europe, succeeding with numerous competitors. Sony has optimized its independence drive in consideration, crippling point in the competition, since the "BOP-SX1" enables chaining "up to 3 movies" on a single charge.
The new "Sony BDP-SX1" actually boasts a battery life of 5 hours, while the competition will take an average of 3 hours. It charges in exchange for some overweight, since it weighs 2.1 kg.
The "BOP-SX1 is also a Blu-ray laptop in the middle.
It is structured to begin, literally and figuratively, around a slab WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixels) by 10.1 inches (25.6 cm), probably inherited from the netbook market, and therefore relatively unsuitable ( 4:10 p.m. ratio instead of 16:9, TN method).
