    Windows Installer Clean Up Application

Last week I installed Windows Vista on one more desktop at my office. Installation went fine and system is also working without any problem. But am getting issues while running Windows Installer Clean Up Application. Whenever I run it, I get an error message saying “Windows Installer Clean Up Application has stopped working.” Re-install the program wont fix it. Do you guys have any idea how to get rid of this?

If you need, here is the complete error message listed in Debug function:
Windows has triggered a breakpoint in msicuu.exe.

This may be due to a corruption of the heap, which indicates a bug in
msicuu.exe or any of the DLLs it has loaded.

This may also be due to the user pressing F12 while msicuu.exe has focus.

The output window may have more diagnostic information.

    THE OUTPUT WINDOW CONTAINS:
    'msicuu.exe': Loaded 'C:\Program Files\Windows Installer Clean
Up\msicuu.exe', Binary was not built with debug information.

Re: Windows Installer Clean Up Application

You should install the program by running it as Admin. Right click the setup file, select "Run as Administrator" and install. Hopefully you be getting this error again. For more help, check out the following discussions.
