Security Update won't Install (KB929729)

I need some help to deal with security update installation on Vista. The update which fails is KB929729. It is update for .Net framework. I cannot find a valid reason why this only fails to work properly. I am here trying from hours to install it. I had upgraded my system to Vista from Windows XP. I hope there is no security flaw in my system.

Why don't you download that and run the setup. Whatever updates failed to install through Windows Update you can find that from the official site. Just download then and install it in your computer manually. It is not at all complicated to do the same. You can also get rid of some old updates if they are causing issue. Go in Control Panel and check whether there is any other .net installed. Remove it and then run the update again. I am sure it will be fixed.

It is right that you can locate the .net framework from official website and download that. It is not at all complicated to find it. If that is not working then you can ignore it. There can be some issue with updates also and once appropriate updates are loaded back it will be installed in your system.
